West Bend Theatre

“Without Herb Stratford and his consulting team, I don’t think the Historic West Bend Theatre would have gotten into the end zone. These historic restoration projects are extremely complicated. We needed a wizard like Herb to guide us over the hurdles. He was especially helpful with the historic registration process at the state and federal levels. Because of that sound work and approvals at both levels, we netted $1.4 million in credits from being the state and federal levels. Herb is a delight to work with. He is thoroughly professional.”

We were engaged by the board of the Historic West Bend Theatre to conduct a market feasibility study to research the viability of the theatre returning to service. Following a very successful project, we were then retained to complete the theatre’s National Register and Historic Tax Credit process to complete fundraising for the restoration of the theatre. We also were engaged to manage the national search for the theatre’s Executive Director, and to provide monthly consultation during construction in regards to theatrical systems and other areas. The West Bend Theatre reopened on March 14, 2020.
