The 1936 Washoe theatre, in Anaconda, MT is a fantastic art deco gem. Just under 1,000 seats, and with the majority of her original finishes and fixtures it’s in our top 10 theatres we’ve ever visited. #artdeco #historictheatre #montana #moviepalaces

The 1926 Midway Theatre in Newport, OR is now the Ark church. Great facade, couldn’t see if anything inside remains. Maybe on my next visit.

Checking off a bucket list theatre while in Amsterdam. The incredible 1921 Royal Theatre Tuschinski is an amazing blend of Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Gothic styles and was restored in 2001-2002, which has 784 seats (down from the original 2,000). Absolutely stunning and in my top 5 theatres in the world. Thanks to the staff for letting me in between screenings to shoot a few photos.
